Livingston v Celtic

Recommended Posts

By letter of the current law it’s a pen, that isn’t a natural position for your hands to be unless you’re a T-Rex whether it should be and laws requires changing (again) is a whole different debate. In saying that it is harsh on the player

Explain

The penalty incident is a penalty for all Celtic fans and not a penalty for everybody else. Everybody else is correct though as his arms were as near to his body as he could manage without surgery.

He's simply stating facts.

Someone should tell him that if we didn’t have champions league football, and the money it brings, then the diddies like you on here wouldn’t have the European threads to laugh at us, it’s the highlight of some fans dull, dreary season, you can’t have it both ways ffs.

Not all Celtic fans said it was a pen.

Martindale just said that Celtic and Rangers have 40 to 45 times the Livi budget.

Because they do, we have a turnover of 1.25m, whereas Celtic and Rangers have 50-60m turnover per year.

You're mistaking stating facts with taking the piss.

You could see from the first 10 min, there was no believe from the players taking anything from that game

So much for Martindale's game plan,10 defenders 1 forward ,ring a ring of roses, why didn't they tackle, sitting back, defending too deep, clearing balls  back to the opposition . Time and time again Celtic dragged them all over the place  PANIC stations don't  pass the ball to me!! These Livi players were absolutely petrified, you'd think they could at least show some fight, giving the ball away continually, Obileye sleeping at the 1 goal  Pittman,Holt the 2 Kelly's Penrice,Fizzywater were shockingly bad

Hamilton  2/10  Didn't  look good
Fitzwater 2/10  Very cumbersome looking
Obileye   2/10  "Wakey-wakey!
Shaun Kelly 2/10  Just does nothing
Devlin    5/10   Not great at least tried
Pittman   2/10  the whole midfield were non existent
Holt      2/10  the whole midfield were non existent
Penrice   2/10  Two left backs
Longridge 3/10  Two left backs
Kelly     3/10
Nouble    6/10  Done well enough up front himself,in hindsight he'd be aswell playing at the back,no way Livi were scoring today

Shinnie  0/10  Done great gave away a penalty
Omeonga  2/10  Ring a ring a roses
Anderson ////

Funnily enough i didn't think VAR interrupted the game all that much, it just fucked us with a few crap decisions, was expecting it the other way around, sigh.

Finished about as bad as i expected after we let in the first goal, though we did well for the rest of the first half not conceding another goal. Really needed a goal back to make it interesting but we hardly troubled Hart's goal, a couple of weak shots straight at him and a couple of decent moves that broke down before we got a shot in. Fairly comfortable win for Celtic in the end, our game plan needed us to go in 0-0 at HT, and 2nd half bring on Anderson to inject a bit of pace up front to work off Nouble, by the time he came on the game was well gone.

Pity the 3rd goal went in 2-0 wouldn't have been too bad a result on our GD, the 3rd goal kinda feels it is.

Wasnt disputing anything, but I was surprised at the multiple.

Although I knew Livi football budget was small, if those numbers you quote above are budget(as opposed to turnover), that is indeed tiny for a company with ~50 employees.
