St Mirren vs Dundee United

That’s exactly what I said to my pal on Saturday there. He’s either solid as a rock and pinging diagonals all over the shop, or he’s slashing at clearances and sailing the ball in to the stand. I still think he’s a good player for us to have at this level but I rate Shaugnessy as a more consistent performer, although he had the odd blunder in his locker as well.

Yeah, I think Shaughnessy is the better defender, it's clearly a balance thing as all our defenders are right footed except for Dunne.

It's a brave move by Robinson, as Shaughnessy had done nothing wrong to get papped out of the team, quite the opposite, and while nobody should be guaranteed a place it leaves me a little uncomfortable seeing him sidelined.

Could there be salary, contract triggers, etc involved in this move? Perhaps, it does provide some basis for Robinson's actions.

Overwhelming majority  of posts on this thread from Maureens.

I suppose playing a team like United is a big deal for them.

Think it's because we have more fans

We will won this comfortably or meekly succumb to a 2-0 defeat. St Mirren have no agency here
