Doric vs Attic: Aberdeen vs Hearts Sunday 2022-10-16

Great to see the love for Jim Bett - absolute class. .

Special mention for Peter Van de Ven - also  , but less so than Bett.

Probably take a draw today - Goodwin's team are tough to play against apart from anything else.

We're better with a back three, imo - Sibbick, Neilson and Kingsley.

Conor Smith at RWB - Cochrane on the left.

Snodgrass in midfield with Devlin to do his running.

Humphrys should start ahead of Shankland, but hopefully both.

edit. Did Lee Mileer play for Aberdeen? He was great for us.

Lee miller gave Copenhagen and Bayern Munich nightmares for Aberdeen.

He was frequently the only player worth watching in a red shirt for a good couple of seasons.

Lee Millar was great. Always gutted he didn't stay at Hearts permanently after his loan. He said it was because we changed manager that summer and that's what stuffed his career at Bristol City (?). Championship Manager legend!

Anyways - expecting to see a defence with some combo of Sibbick, Neilson Jr, Kingsley and Cochrane.

Scott severin and Lee Miller combined for Miller to score the winner just after Xmas 2008
