Dundee FC vs Ayr United - 15/10/2022

Recommended Posts

Noticed in The Sun (was in the barbers) that Dundee’s manager has been reduced to trying to unsettle Ayr by claiming they will lose their manager and top player before too long.

Can’t believe the state Dundee are in, below Ayr in the league. It’s been over 30 years since we were below Ayr the league table (not even for a week).

Dinde still hurting from Kilmarnock being pumped 2 seasons ago by a geriatric Charlie Adam.

He’s at least very good at spelling out the fucking obvious then. I don’t think any fan is under the illusion that if things keep going well that Bullen won’t attract attention. That’s why it’s so important that we have the likes of Graeme Mathie to provide stability and consistency. If Bullen has a couple of good seasons and goes to a bigger club then so be it. It won’t set the club back as much as it did when McCall left.

I’m not worried about Akinyemi either tbh. He’s tied down until 2025 and we’ll likely cash in next summer unless we can get him to extend his current deal. That money will likely be used to improve the squad in a couple of areas so we can go again. That has to be our business model.

3 year deal til 2025? Not many of those given out at this level. He probably has a 20k release clause or something. Small clubs always get screwed.

No it’s a typo above, he’s on a 2 year deal until summer 2024

Aye it was an error on my part. Even with a year left on his deal he’d still command a decent transfer fee. Highly doubt there’s a release clause anywhere.

So we’re signing the Big Shagger in Jan?

Thank you.
