The Station Hotel is fine in Portsoy: there *was* a good pub down at one of the harbours but it might not have survived the last lockdown/been converted into something else. Cullen, Findochty and (other side of Banff) Gardenstown/Crovie can all easily be accessed and are well worth visiting as well. Final fixture of the season is at Turriff again (last game was the HL Cup), so taking your advice and stopping at the Station Hotel this time (the Sail Loft was block booked again).
