St Mirren v Livi

Recommended Posts

Good cross and even better header for St Mirren. Baccus is a bit of a force of nature, there's a real passion to his play. From a Livi perspective, giving Flynn all the time he needed to control a throw then cross was really slack.

Jonah Ayunga doing a prime Luis Suarez there. Great save for a goal bound shot.
Red card, penalty.
Penalty skied over the bar.
1-0
Hold!

That handball on the line should really be the equivalent of a penalty try in rugby

Not when the goalkeeper is behind him ready to save it 😂. Suppose we'll never know if he would have saved it.

Unless you've a genuine specialist elsewhere in the team, have your main striker take penalties. Psychological benefit of improving his morale if he scores then if he doesn't, he's used to missing chances so shouldn't be as bothered as other players might be. Should objectively be the best close range shot in the squad anyway. I hope Anderson now becomes penalty taker.

If that's the case then the player shouldn't have been sent off as he didn't stop a goal. It's a ridiculous rule that gives the Chester a chance to gain from it as they did today

FT 2-1
Woof, what a second half that was. Polar opposite from the first, action everywhere.
Three good goals, a red card and a missed penalty.
And we out-scrapped Livingston and I think we deserved the win.
When that equaliser goes in with 10 to go and we are down to 10 men you’re thinking backs to the wall and take the point.
Nope, we’re up the park trying to win it. Thought we should have had a penalty for the corner that led to the goal, but that’s okay cause it ended up in the net. Great turn and finish by Grieve.
I think our best player was Erhahon, some shift from the superstar.
Third and flying. Ibrox next week? Easy.
