It's time for one of those banter football manager formations.

This is the XI I would start tomorrow, just not in that strange formation...

McGinn can go into a midfield three with McGregor/Jack, and have Fraser using his pace to play off Adams on the counter.

This won't be pretty.  As others have said, if Clarke can grind out a draw here, it'll be his finest achievement yet.

SLightly afeared of this. It's been such a positive week; a sweeping win v Uke at home, toughing it out, winning ugly v a stuffy Ireland, a feel-good vibe around topping the group; but lose tomorrow night and it's all down the pan.

We will need to be at least as good, and possibly a bit sharper, than in the Hampden tie. There is no possible way that Uke will be as bad as they were then.

Adams has been training today, so it might not be as ominous as it sounds. Dykes hasn't been seen at all in training, so you can pretty much mark him out. If Adams can make it, I think we'll see a return to the 3 centre-halves and wing backs.

                             Gordon
Hickey--Hendry-Gallagher-Kingsley--Taylor
                              Jack
               McGinn           McGregor
                      Fraser
                                 Adams

Just pack the midfield and try and shitfest a result.

Craig Levein walked so that Stevie Clarke could run.

Time to unleash the 4-6-0 shitfest

Gordon

Hickey-Hendry-Gallagher-Taylor

Armstrong-McLean-Jack-McGregor-McGinn-Christie

Aye, you have said that a couple of times now.  Don't you recall that we lost 1-0 when Levein went with the 4-6-0?

Fraser on the left. Jack and Gallagher on the right
Though all are equally as capable of being infected were they to be deployed on the opposite flank too. Fraser however has the best chance to outrun the virus with his pace.

My prediction: Virus 1-1 Scotland - a hard-fought point that will see us over the line.

Shankland to get a late call up? Struggling to think of any senior level strikers playing at any significant level.... (Assuming Dykes and Adams out)....

Surely it's too late now for players to be called up?

I'm not sure at what point SFA have to register their official squad and whether there is an administrative cut off but as for physically getting there, not a chance too late.

I would be on phone earlier today to Shankland / Conway and telling them to get to an airport

Would make a good thread in itself, that. Most embarrassing 90 mins as Scotland fan. Very dependent on age of course but for me. England 5, Scotland 1. 1975.

Yeah I'm to young to have seen that, obviously we have had worse results than that Czech game, but playing like that was horrible. And we were good enough not to play like that.
