tough watch over 90 mins. some periods we were in control but quite a few good chances for Ukraine. I wonder what our formation/reaction would be if they hadn't blazed that chance over the bar in the first half. Anyway, fortune favours the brave. After tonight/last three games, what have we learned:

- Hickey is our right back;

- can play equally well with 4 or 3 at the back;

- pray that Gordon keeps fit and wants to keep playing international football;

- best squad depth and first 11 we have had in decades;

- Hendry is probably our best natural centre half;

-McLean is a thank you for your service but last appearance/squad selection;

I was wrong about 3rd seed, we are actually 4th. Meaning atm we're off to fucking Israel 😂

A trip to Israel gives me the fear but realistically something would have to go incredibly wrong for all 4 of the runners up to fail to qualify from pot 2.

I would suspect we will end up with a home SF if we do end up in the playoffs, which I certainly hope we do not.

Robertson and Tierney are still only 28 and 25 respectively so I can’t see Hickey dislodging them any time soon.

If Tierney wasn't so injury prone I would agree. But he is, and I think in 3 or 4 years time Hickey starting ahead of them both is definitely possible.
