Killiepiyo
Was going to just post on the Talbot thread but thought a bit more about and given his service to the juniors and west league it probably merits a thread of its own. it’s Andy’s Testimonial year at Talbot and the testimonial committee have organised a Talbot Legends v Killie Legends match at Beechwood. Involving a number of legends across the game and divisions and should be a great and well deserved occasion for the iconic keeper. Game details; THE ANDY LEISHMAN TESTIMONIAL MATCH TALBOT LEGENDS V KILLIE LEGENDS BEECHWOOD PARK, AUCHINLECK SUNDAY 2 OCTOBER 2022 - KICK OFF – 2.00PM ADMISSION: £5.00 – Tickets now available for sale from Colin Chisholm, Morton Wright Jnr or Committee Members
BANKIEBILL
Best I've seen at non-league level. Well deserved - hope the big man gets a turn.
Jan Vojáček
It's impossible to gauge obviously, but I've always wondered what level he could've played it if he'd fancied turning pro. With his stature and size I reckon he could've had a decent career in League One/Two down south if he'd really gone for it. An absolutely superb player.
Satori.
A top performer over many seasons , the big man deserves his testimonial. I have watched him on many occasions and can quite honestly say I don't remember him having a bad game. I'm struggling to think of a better keeper in our grade. I'm sure the people of Auchinleck will turn out in good numbers to support their legendary keeper.
Richey Edwards
A very good keeper. I have been impressed with him whenever I have watched him play. Always thought he could have had a decent professional career.
Lokloyal
A consistently excellent keeper. As said above did he ever have a go senior?Strange if he didn’t as always good.
Killiepiyo
He’s not had a shortage of offers and opportunities including being on trial with hearts. Wouldn’t be stretching to say he loves the club and he’s been well looked after by the club. Know he’s stayed for less money on offer elsewhere and genuinely loves the club, fitting he’s captain. Still love for ones club out there and Andy’s arguably proof of that. Know a few players who would rather be at the likes of Talbot/Pollok/Clydebank etc than playing in the lower divisions of league football. Not great money, lot of travelling and probably the same if not a smaller support base.

Shanner
really enjoyed that today and the players seemed to be having a good time as well. If we see another Talbot keeper achieve half of what Andy has been part of we'll be very lucky.
