He can play scotland because his father born scotland

His father, Bryan Gunn was capped and called up as 3rd choice for years.

Angus Gunn though, was born in Norwich and considers himself English. There's little to no chance he'll play for Scotland as he has already said no.

Livramento is 19, he could easily kick on once he's back from his injury, and it doesn't take a lot to get into an England squad.

Walker is 32 and in the back nine of his career, but TAA and James are both in their early 20’s and you’d expect them to be the first choice RBs going forward. Livramento might occasionally sneak into a nations league squad over jobbers like Mitchell, Walker-Peters and Justin, but would he really take the small possibility of that over being a permanent fixture in the Scotland squad for a decade?

He'd play for Portugal

If Gordon and McLaughlin retire Scotland football international team. Clarke look english Premiers league or Championship with quality keeper player who born scotland with grandmother/grandfather or parent born scotland?

Do you not think he/his team are already doing that?

We will be aware of pretty much everyone with eligibility and any sort of notion to play for us. Even if someone's granny was born here, if they feel 100% English (or other nationality) then it is unlikely we'll get too many players switching over that havent already done so.

Exactly they've been told to pick up the phone to Clarke cos he won't chase them

Its there Scottish team mates who are key in trying to talk them round

But lets face it only a certain amount off times you can do that without them telling you to piss off

For an immediate/short term impact then Barnes Anderson Livramento are ones hopefully we can hoover up. Doubt there’s any chance of Gordon converting.

Medium/longer term then hopefully able to get the likes of Hackney back and Jarrell Quansah and Archie Gray onside.

Yet to be convinced Gordon is anything other than bang average. Comes across like a wee unlikeable fanny as well.

That's basically an 11

               - Steele -

 Targett - Binks - ? - Liveramento

                - Hackney -

         - Steele - Anderson -

-Gordon          -          Barnes -

                  - Grant -

I'd have Barnes, Gordon, Anderson, Hackney or Liveramento...but if we had them all I'd be pretty uncomfortable about basically being England B.

If any of these players or any others eligible when approached at the start of a qualifying campaign want to commit then if its an upgrade on who we have and a squad position which is typically not nailed on then its no different to a promising youngster coming through. The idea that any player who's not committed suddenly becomes interested once qualified or near a tournament can f**k off.

Elliot Anderson had a chance to come in and basically play in a few games then head into the Euros with Scotland - good luck if he thinks he will get that with England anytime soon. Not sure I'd agree with any of these guys if it was the detriment of a player who'd done some 'hard miles' previously through that campaign.

After that episode, its safe to say there's a cunty attitude with some players who might be better avoided than bringing in and fucking up the unity of the squad.

I think there are a few instances pointing towards no return to Scotland for Elliot Anderson under Steve Clarke now. As the Scotsman put it, Carvers use of the past and present tense is another example.

Quote

He’s [Livramento] on the radar, for sure. He’s on the radar as Anderson was, and Barnes is, and many others out there. The one thing I will stress, it’s important that the players who are coming to play for Scotland want to play for Scotland. And I’ve always stressed this since I’ve been here, these players want to be here and want to be part of it. That’s the most important thing. But that’s for the future.
