Motherwell vs Hearts 18/9/22

Recommended Posts

I've made many questionable decisions in life, but today may be up there.

Took the car to the Derby - Wycombe match yesterday as I couldn't face another pint after Riga.

But then, when leaving Derby I took the mad idea of driving up to my brother's to stay over-night and go to the Hearts game today. So, here I am in deepest Lanarkshire contemplating where it all went wrong and wondering why I'm not sitting hundreds of miles away with my feet up reading the paper and drinking coffee.

I don't even think there's a remote possibility Hearts will win today.

f**k's sake.

With Slattery out I’m worried about the midfield battle. Goss and Tierney aren’t exactly physical/combative players and with Halliday and Devlin in their for Hearts we’ll be doing well to get control of that area of the park.

Intrigued to see how we line up. I assume a 4-3-3,

Gordon

Smith Neilson Kingsley Cochrane

Kiomourtzoglu Devlin Halliday

Forrest Shankland Mckay

Although based on what Robbie/BBC said it's potentially 4-1-4-1?!

Gordon

Smith Neilson Kingsley Cochrane

 Devlin

Forrest Kiomourtzoglu Halliday  Mckay

Shankland

🤷

Why make a change before the break, only have one slot left now

Pretty sure hammell was asking fo4 how long left and It looks like the offical said 5 minutes? Don't think he wanted to risk being down to 10 for a long period but it seems to be a waste in hignsight
