Sevco v Dundee United - 17/09/22

Really don't get this minute's silence pish.

If you feel strongly enough about something to stand silently thinking about it for a while, why does it matter to you if other people don't. Seems like it's more about imposition of will on others than remembrance.

The chant is distasteful but that won’t stop me laughing like f**k at how much that (and the United statement) has managed to wind up Rangers supporters. Truly wonderful stuff. The same supporters who sing bigoted, sectarian songs every single week and now they demand respect. Bunch of jokers.

Would Utd fans have sung that song if they had been playing any other team today? 🤔

Probably not.

Thats kinda the point - it was less a desire to disrespect an auld biddy who’s passed on, more an innate desire to piss off the Rangers.

And by any measure it was successful.

And isn't it nice that the final act of that hard working lady's life was to provide that opportunity.

I assume all those Rangers fans upset at the United fans' chants today would be happy with notion of 'strict liability' whereby clubs are held responsible for the actions of their supporters?

Or does that have the potential to be a tad awkward?

Nothing bad happened today.  A few daft wee DU fans went against Scotland's zeitgeist and made 'bad chants'.  There is nothing to see here.

Incredible that you think it has something to do with  'strict liability' .

The only surprise today was that a song at Ibrox celebrating death came from the away end.
