St. Mirren v Sellick, Sunday 18th September

Recommended Posts

HT 1-0
Yeah fair reflection of the game so far. Felt we’ve been in control and have been the better side throughout, Carson’s not had a save to make. Celtic have been disappointing.
O’Hara probably been our best player so happy to see him get the goal, great run and header after a nice move.
Long way to go obviously, but three points very much here for the taking if we can keep playing as we are. We will need a strong performance from the ref too.

Without Jota, Hatate and O’Riley you really lack creativity. But credit to St Mirren. Both tactically and in effort and application they’ve been very good.

Problem is midfield, not moving the ball fast enough. Mooy and Turnbull slow the game down too much, neither press as well as Hatate or O’Riley either. Swapping in 1 is fine but not both

You do almost expect the officials to find Celtic a penalty or an opposition red card from somewhere in these situations.
There certainly will be plenty of diving and dodgy claims for them second half, let’s hope the ref gets the big calls that will be coming right.
