Glad you are happy with that. Who is number 14? The worst player on the pitch by a long long way. Utter donkey

Don't know.

Just Edited- Lewis McCann is number 14

Anyway, as I was saying...nae c**t cant beat us and we're still top.  Love to see what happens when we make our signings.

Can only really echo what has been said before. Good turnout by both sets of fans who were treated to a really entertaining game with two teams going all out for the win. A cracking advert for Scottish football despite being played in the 3rd tier.

We bossed it first half and should have been out of sight by half time. Dunfermline were coming back in to it but still frustrating to give away such a stupid and needless penalty. We played some good stuff and missed a fair number of chances over the piece whilst they hit both posts and dragged a shot wide from a great position. Both sides will feel they were lucky/ unlucky in that respect.

Think over the 90 minutes we  shaded it which was surprising. Burrell grabbed his opportunity and looked quite handy, McGinn, Donaldson and McCann all played well. Mochrie was Pars best player I thought.

Ref was utterly stinking for both sides, also randomly booking/ not booking players (Benedictus lolz) as he went along. Though McPake getting a yellow after 5 minutes for losing the rag over two nailed on fouls was pretty funny

Long way to go this season but plenty to be optimistic about after that today

Thought Falkirk tried to play better football but Pars had better attempts by being more direct. If we spend our budget wisely, I'm confident of winning the league. Just need to sign players now.

His positional change out to the left was a big reason as to why we then dominated the second half so much, had the beating of the right back.

Think we took Falkirk's biggest punch and although we wobbled, we came back swinging.

Can't see us being able to maintain it without reinforcements though. The guys work their socks off but that alone won't win a promotion.

Dominated? Na 2nd half was pretty even and I thought you were hanging in the last 10.
If we play like we did first half and in spells like we did 2nd we won’t be far away.

Just watched the highlights and the PK was certainly nothing like as clear cut as it looked at the game.
Dunfermline ain’t pretty on the eye but will get results pumping long balls and long throws in this league. We dealt with it pretty comfortably for the most part.

Came away very confident about our prospects. First half was as good as we have played since we beat Dundee Utd 6-1 under Hartley.

Out of interest, where was the inconsistency today? He consistently missed a lot and let players away with ‘taking one for the team’ and going in hard and late - Falkirk did on several occasions and didn’t get a booking for it. Benedictus foul was just as late/rash as the challenge for the penalty, which didn’t result in a yellow card. Can’t disagree with the blind, stupid and incompetent. But for me, they seem to be consistently blind, stupid and incompetent.

Should Benedictus have been shown a second yellow? Absolutely. But that would have been inconsistent with his decisions and lack of bookings for similar challenges up to that point.

Mcginn got away wth a tackle very similar to the one that got Benedictus booked in the first half. Second half, Falkirk player wiped out trying to break on the halfway line right hand side, foul - no booking. Two minutes later, McGuffie wipes out a Dunfermline player trying to break on the right hand side - booked. Benedictus then (after taking out Burrell off the ball a few minutes earlier) wipes out a Falkirk player breaking on the halway line right hand side - no booking.

Tired defenders often foul players about to get past them on the halfway line. It's deliberate, it's a "professional foul" and it's a yellow card

Just watched highlights. Three chances in the first half (Burrell, McGuffie, Donaldson) and two in the last ten minutes (both times Morrison should have found a man for a tap in) were better chances than I remembered.

When was the last time Morrison hit his man with a cross?

Yeah he doesnt set up many compared to what he scores. Those two late ones, the one he hit, Hetherington was stood right in front of goal, completely alone. If he rolls that to him we win. And the one where he found neither Burrell or Hetherington was the last chance of the game and should have been a winner

Just watched the highlights back.  Some thoughts:

- draw was fair

- there were more highlights in that match than our last three seasons combined

- not entirely sure how Burrell didn’t score that early chance

- Mcguffies flick for Burrell in the buildup to the goal was great, and his chance had more defenders in the way than I thought

- if we had anyone other than Hetherington running in at the end their, we would have scored at the death.  Just throw yourself at it man!

- penalty is a bit harsh but I’d be shouting for it at the other end

I said to my wife on the way out I felt like it was 2 points dropped. We should have been out of sight by h.t and watching the highlights confirms this.

Dunfermline had chances second half but if we go in after 45mins 2 or 3 up the second half is a different game.

I also felt all through the game we played nicer football and the Pars relied more on high balls into the box.

Think we have a better squad at the moment and if we can get all our injured players back and maybe get a right back in as cover to allow Finn into midfield we won’t be far away.

Also think Henderson/Donaldson will become a great partnership, have to mind Henderson is still only a couple of games back from injury.

Overall happy with the way we are going.

Didn't think either of them were fouls, especially Benedictus' one when he cleanly won the ball right in front of the linesman.

Penalty looked soft, as the cross was made & player went over the defenders attempt to block. The resultant chance being blown at the back post.

Just seen the highlights, never a pen.

Can only think the ref thought the Pars could have played all day without scoring & decided to give them a helping hand.

Dunfermline just couldn’t deal with us in the first half but the celebrating playing well for 45 minutes against a dreadful Dunfermline mob like we’ve won the European Cup is embarrassing. Decent reaction from the Kelty game but Dunfermline look guff.

Good atmosphere but once again let down by that Norrie pish. While it was a minority that minority is getting bigger. That combined with the racist shout at the Kelty game needs nipped in the bud before it gets completely out of hand.

Polite way of saying that he is a greedy c*nt.

A few posters over on the Falkirk thread have posted in the past that they think that McGlynn can coach his bad decision making out of him but I don't think that is the case. He gets the ball, gets his head down and either runs or hits it. He never looks up to pick out a player in a better position.

He's playing in the 3rd tier for a reason.

Burrell on the other hand is always looking to find his man with a pass. We've got a real find there.

Spoken like a true Pars fan……
