Ultimately, it's difficult to be unhappy after an opening day win against a Divisional rival, but f**k me that was far more of a laboured win than it needed to be. Only the Chargers can out-sack the opponent 6 to 0, not turn the ball over and create three turnovers of their own, and STILL end up playing a fucking arse-clencher inside the 2 minute warning.

Lots of improvement needed.

Take it gracefully why don't ya!

He’s a p***k. Was a bawbag at the Patriots as a player and then was a complete bully when on Hard Knocks as the linebacker coach with the Texans

I feel it's very disingenuous when commentators call these last-minute drills a 'miracle', NFL teams can quite easily get themselves moving fairy often when things are this tense imo.

Generally speaking, playing late with a lead the D is going to play not to let anything behind them, so they'll leave plenty of short stuff wide open as a result, which is why you see offenses that have looked like dugshit the entire game suddenly go 60 yards in a handful of plays in 30-40 seconds. But as per usual with the NFL, the focus is entirely on the ball, so it's always centred around what the O is doing rather than the truth of the matter, which is that they are merely taking what the D is freely giving them.
