That article is absolute nonsense. The only common denominator is Archie McPherson didn't think Celtic would win either game.

As was said in the terrible journalism thread in the Premiership forum, it's also extremely funny and no doubt winds up Celtic fans, so it's fine.

I just wish Charlie would drop the doomsday device already and put us all out of our misery.

Is it finished yet? Any decent films on?

I noticed Film Four had Von Ryan's Express on at the same time as the London shindig

Decent film, good turn from Frank Sinatra, might have offended a few Royals as it's about battling the Germans.....

Have you ever actually posted anything about football on this football forum doodlebug?

Sorry - I’m not getting into another of the little “bait and report” matches you began the last time there was a royal pantomime.

An average of 18.8 million people tuned into watch the Coronation across 11 channels and services, including BBC One, Two, ITV and Sky News. On BBC One, a peak of 13.4 million viewers tuned in to the broadcast led by Huw Edwards and the channel had an average audience of 11.9 million, the BBC said.

So basically on every channel and got 1m more viewers than womens football.

Fair point. Also far fewer viewers that Chuck and Diana's wedding, Anne and Mark Phillips' wedding, Diana's funeral and the Apollo 13 splashdown.

In non-special events news, nearly 6 million more folk watched the episode of Coronation Street when Hilda Ogden left.  In fact, more folk watched an episode of Steptoe and Son in 1964 and an episode of To the Manor Born in 1979 than watched the coronation.

So, no great demonstration of much in the coronation viewing figures.

Rejoice!
