This is why they're on the list of counter revolutionary enemies of the people then.

Hilariously, Mark Littlewood of the IEA is a bit seething that she's fucked up the delivery of Project Singapore on Thames.

Unless the chair of a shadowy free market think tank is being disingenuous for effect? To be ultra cynical about things.

Just read that Theresa May also went to a comprehensive school, mad that she didn't fact check even the most basic elements of her speech.

I’m surprised that people are surprised that Truss is fucking useless.  So far her performances in public, including her media interviews, have gone pretty much as I thought they would.

Krishnan Guru-Murthy just ripped into the Minister of the Cabinet Office on C4 News just now:

Why did Liz Truss say she was the first Tory PM to go to one, when Theresa May went to one too?

Erm, that wasn't a comprehensive school.

Yes it was.

No it wasn't.  It only changed to a comprehensive whilst she was there.

So she attended a comprehensive school then.

[uncomfortable silence] ...

If I were him (or Heather Small) then I'd be taking to Twitter, saying something like "superb and fitting choice of entry song for Liz Truss" with the starting lyrics pasted below.

Good enough:

The comments adding the additional lyrical detail.  Superb.

They’re right.

Actions speak louder than words.

For someone who is supposedly retired you'd think you'd just get the cigars out and relax rather than trolling a sub-forum of a football site, trying to win the biggest 'look how edgy I am' badge.

It's not as intimidating as the Axis of Evil tbh

The irony of a Tory leader lecturing on "vested interests".

"Something, something, something... or virtue signalling!"

[waits for Tory applause...]

[met with awkward silence]

People's tutting revolution would be the extent of it.

That's why the Conservatives can do what they want, safe in the knowledge that no one is going to come charging in and throw them out on their arse outside of election time.

We should send a P&B delegation down to Westminster to burst in and tell the Tories to get tae f**k.

And, like Trump, their supporters really don’t care.

Trump - a man with wealth and privilege that even many "elite" in our country can only dream of - convincing so many Americans that he is just like them and is some sort of messiah is the scam of the century.

Fair play to him though. He found the demographic most likely to vote for him and sold them a dummy. And he is STILL adored by them despite his presidency being an absolute shitshow.

Only if we can use the phrase "I'm going to kick your c**t in" as the violence begins.
