Looking forward to Dawson Park Boy changing his principles completely, again.

He hasn't got any - he's a fucking trolling fantasist.

He’s really not. He’s genuinely an evil old Tory bigot.

It seems that if anyone deviates from the forum’s socialist, separatist viewpoint then you are termed evil, bigoted, a fantasist. I’m sure you’d all feel a lot better if you could just ban anyone with a dissenting opinion.

Democracy or free speech doesn’t figure very highly.

Oh well, crack on.

No, no. You’re absolutely free to air your views. I’m just stating mine. I don’t want you banned at all, it’s helpful to be able to realise that there actually are people like you out there who vote for this shower of c***s, as opposed to election rigging.

And I didn’t call you a fantasist.

Can I offer some thoughts ?

Firstly, I commend you for engaging in a forum which I would agree is overwhelmingly hostile to your views, and I include myself in that.  Having said that, I reckon that like quite a few I know personally on the political right, were to meet we'd amicably agree to disagree.

However, I also feel your air of at times casual arrogance and rather condescending superiority do you few favours.  Perhaps unintentionally it too often comes across as 'I'm Alright Jack'.

Stay here and fight your corner DPB, but show others the respect you would expect for yourself.

OKI III

Tbf to him, at least he's open about it as opposed to the thousands of spineless Tory voters who take extra care to conceal their pristinely-folded bit of paper  between booth and ballot box, before telling their social acquaintances that they voted Lib Dem.

I don’t think the forum generally supports Brexit. You’ve been quite vocally separatist, though.

Surprised they've backed down on some of this. It doesn't seem to be a traditional arse biscuit floatation, used to make the inevitable "compromise" smell less turdy, as it's made Truss and Kwarteng look fucking clueless from the off, devoid of spine, and won't have stopped many people thinking they're the kind of people who'd sell your baby for the value of the precious metals in their body.

The only conclusion to come to is that they genuinely didn't bother to find out if the important people (their party; not us, of course) would back them, which would make them even more hopeless than anticipated. Unless this all really was purely a scam to make a bundle for Kwasi's mates, which...yeah, it was that, wasn't it?

Are you happy that Truss wants to deregulate the banks?

To be honest, I simply think that these extremist nut cases can't believe they've somehow found themselves in Downing Street.

Now they've got there, they simply want to do it all, all at once.  They are true believers in this stuff, and they are of course, willingly and wilfully beholden to the think tanks.

They don't want to "waste" this chance that they know might not last long.  I don't think there's anything strategic or even tactical happening.  They'll do every viciously right wing economic thing they think they can get away with, until they're no longer in place.

I think you’re quite right in what you’re saying but I’m sure they have the support of only about a third of their Parliamentary colleagues and that number will drop further as they see their seats under threat.

Absolutely.

I think that knowledge of how flimsy any mandate is, drove them to the ill considered, immediate blitz they launched.

No surprise there at all, but I'm curious to know what this gains them, other than being seen to be different from the EU just for the hell of it.

The replacement will obviously make business less liable for breaches in cybersecurity, but by how much. Without fear of consequence, will Div once again be able to keep all our PayPal details in a plaintext Notepad file on a server with a password of "morten"?
