Clyde vs Dunfermline - Rearranged for Tue 18th Oct

Recommended Posts

Dunfermline playing a back three?

I generally don't mind a rubbish team matching up against a better one who are playing a 352, usually that can lead to a stalemate and that would suit us. However, I am prepared to make an exception given our previous attempts at playing it this season.

Happy to hear half time there. Clyde were starting to dominate.

Felt that the game was quite open in midfield in general. Clyde got the ball forward to the edge of our box often but failed to do much most of the time. We preferred to get it wide for crosses, especially from the right. Sadly Comrie's crossing hasn't been great.

Felt we've been fairly poor since the goal. We've struggled to keep the ball and are a bit too predictable, all whilst getting overwhelmed off the ball far too much.

Fisher has been pretty good this half.

Feel we need some changes at half time. Would like to see Hamilton on as he helps us hold on to the ball and generally moves it more often. Think MacDonald on for Comrie would be good too, especially since Comrie is on a yellow card.

Big shout to the comedy roaster in the Clyde support who has had numerous slobbering rants.

Another reasonably competitive performance, another gift of a goal. Gomis losing possession was bad enough but Ray Grant then sells himself by diving in. Neither of them having great games.

Our lack of physical strength is probably even more noticeable today against a team who are much bigger across the pitch.
