Ship steadied.

Can't grumble at an away point. We're at the 'stop the rot' stage of our imminent turnaround.

#optimism

We neither steadied the ship or stopped the rot, we were just very, very fortunate.  If we continue to play like we we did today we will lose most game by a couple of goals.

Should have been out of sight at half time. Poor finishing again. KVV should have had another hat-trick at least. Tierney will never score again and the Spittal 1v1 passback.

Nearly threw it away in the second half with a few individual errors.

Aarons is no good on the right. Never convinvced inverted wingers works. You need at least one guy going down the line on his good foot.

The sooner King Louis is on the pitch the better.

There's obvious frustration after that but at the same time, I'm really pleased with things. For the first 45 minutes, that's the best Motherwell performance I've witnessed in a long, long time.

On another day, van Veen gets another hattrick and it's a comfortable afternoon. I'm hoping when the likes of McKinstry, Aarons and Moult get up to speed, we'll be even better. It seems we're on the cusp of being a very good side to watch.

As for Utd, it's been a tough few weeks and it's obvious the players' confidence is shattered. Still, a League Cup quarter final place and a hard fought 0-0 will do the players and the fans the world of good.

Onwards!

Absolutely. Still no idea what the penalty was given for. Infuriating that we couldn't stick the ball in.

United are shite. Half of them looked like they were blowing by half-time.

That’s one of the most one sided nil nils I’ve ever been at. KVV really should be up the road with the match ball.

We played some nice stuff at times so I’m still feeling positive.

Dundee United have no pace and very little threat. I can see it being a long season for them.

United just need to stop being shitebags.

The back 5 they played today was horrific. Maybe you look at the clean sheet and think it worked but really it was only poor finishing that stopped this being another skelping.

Have a bit of bottle and have a go instead of watching Fletcher be isolated up front.

A decent away point at a Motherwell side who have been going well. Nice to get a clean sheet, and for our keeper to have been decisive in a positive way for once. Should restore a bit of confidence.

I’m a bit puzzled though, because Motherwell started as favourites, which their fans on here insisted actually made us favourites, but going by that logic if they became underdogs that surely made them favourites again, which actually made us favourites, which actually… etc

So maybe a draw was the inevitable outcome??? 🤔 🤷‍♂️

Yes, our recent form absolutely suggested we should have gone balls out

I knew United were shite but I didn't think they would be that shite. Absolute hoof ball all game. Keeper was time wasting from kick off too, I didn't realise a 0-0 at Fir Park was such a sought after result lol

Frustrating that we didn’t get the win but we played pretty well I thought.

When was the last time a United keeper save a penalty (during a match)? I mind Mehmet saving in a shoot out at St Johnstone in 2020, but in the actual game time my memory has gone blank.

Benji saved one at Ibrox the season before last. They were already 3-0 up at the time though so it counted for very little.
