StJ v StM 3/8/22

Recommended Posts

You scored first - we've yet to come back even for a draw during Robinson's tenure.

We just do not know how to play against teams who sit back. If teams open up against us we can hit them on the break, otherwise we have no threat.

FT 3-0
Brutal stuff, well beaten and can have no complaints about the scoreline. Back to the performance levels we seen in the league cup group from us.
Thought Baccus and Ayunga were very poor in particular. Dunne was shaky all day and sold the first goal, surely we need to get captain Joe back in the team at his expense next week.
Our counter attacking game plan works fine against teams who want the ball, like United and Hibs. It does not work at all against teams like St Johnstone and we simply have no plan B.
No real positives to take, could do with a reaction at Tynecastle next week with the fixtures we have coming up.

St J must have been truly woeful this season listening to the commentary from their guys.

Seem to think that performance was brilliant.

Didn’t think there was much between the teams.

Those two rapid hits of the woodwork would have changed things.  Neither went in though and that was that.

Don’t think we should let this hit our confidence.

Don’t agree with Lex that we were woeful at all.

It's a c**t when I'm right aint it.

Yeah. Because every single week your prediction is for St Mirren to lose heavily.

So whenever you’re right most Saints fans are understandably pissed off.

Something wrong with you that your reaction to your team losing is to gloat.

More fool them because we lose way more than we win

"It’s always nice when you see payers come in and do well and get it right up our support" Davidson adds. "Nicky controlled it and then finished and then Connor with his energy got the penalty towards the end of the game and managed to kill the game off - it’s pleasing. This will hopefully silence some of the doubters in our support. Idiots like that tree house guy, tractor driving fannies the lot of them"

"The squad’s good, I'm awesome and we managed to make changes that brought energy to the team when we needed and managed to see the game out. I'm looking forward to seeing Random Guys stats tonight"

Bold interview but hard to disagree.
