Have a wonderful day

Recommended Posts

Thanks to this thread, I have indeed had a good day.

Day off work. Went to the shops this morning with the wife. When we got home she claimed to be tired so we went to bed for a few hours in the afternoon. Then I washed the cars, attacked the garden with a weed burner and watched a movie with the kids.

Only fly in the ointment was my laptop breaking, but that means I get a new one.

Are you giving Richey credit for that?

Booked to go to New York in February and we leave the morning after my idiot sister-in-law's farce of an engagement party so it'll be an early departure from it on the Saturday night. Win-Win.

I'd be proud of you if you patch the engagement party.

I have had a can of red bull and an enjoyable drive to fife this morning.

Why are you going there?

Aye I might be unable to get the Saturday night off for the farce...

I used to work 12 hour shifts before I started university. "Oh no I'm working/nightshift" provided a great excuse to get out of anything.
