Aberdeen v Livi

Recommended Posts

I was only going by Sportscene highlights but I'd actually thought Aberdeen had looked better than their results had suggested so far. So I knew a result like today was possible if we made an arse of it. Aberdeen have some excellent players and are probably going to go on and have a very strong season.

Need to just write this one off today. Two home games coming up next which is more hopeful.

Very impressive performance in the 2nd half with a bit of a caveat there.

We didn’t start the game properly at all again and could’ve been punished. Happening a little too often so far.

Big moment obviously changes the game completely and from there we really took advantage which we deserve credit for.

Hayes playing some absolutely lovely stuff today.

Miovski is class. Just lacks that bit of pace that top class strikers have otherwise he'd be nowhere near Scottish football.

Aye, there’s been a few one on one situations have been made harder than they should die to a wee lack of pace.

Bamboozled why he let Vinny take the 2nd penalty though. Very odd.

Yip.

Seen that in the past with penalties. I suppose it's supposed to put the keeper at a disadvantage as he'll have prepared for Miovski (first pen he dived the way Bojan has went with his others).

As usual mistakes every single game, but Livi's
performances have been poor, certain Livi fans
on here keep praising the players, it seems some of them can do no wrong, in reality most of them are not good enough.
BIG problems as an attacking force, the whole midfield are the biggest problem.

OMEONGA, when on the ball doesn't know what to do, cant find a player, wont shoot, creates nothing

KELLY, Not good enough,Mr invisible,creates nothing,no pace.

PITTMAN, Does plenty running, nothing else, struggles  to get on the ball, his ball control is not good enough, past his best for this league

SHINNE, Absolute hopeless, usually invisible, slow, creates nothing but gets a game every week

HOLT, Not at it this season, basically a defender not a midfielder, wont come out his own half, creates nothing, continually fouls

George  3/10
Devlin  5/10
Fitzwater 3/10 Good this season, bad mistake today
Obileye  4/10
Montaño  5/10 Good in patches, then disappears
Holt     3/10
Omeonga  4/10
Kelly    1/10
Shinnie  1/10
Pittman  2/10
Nouble   3/10  Looks jaded last 2 games, better on the wing

I wont judge the subs but that Cancar looks a liability

His finishing can be a ‘bit’ erratic but aye, he’s brilliant. Light years ahead of Ramirez when it comes to all round game.

Livi were actually comfortable & the better team until their brain fart for the first penalty.
Thereafter it was as easy & one-sided as Aberdeen would’ve wanted.
Jason Holt is still a horrible wee h*n rat.
Still, at least Martindale will still be happy his team won today.

We can hardly be calling out other managers for supporting one of those two.

Wow, very harsh.

Livi arguably the better team until the red card. Certainly felt you had the upper hand in midfield.
Not sure what you’re expecting to be honest, but it’s pretty unrealistic whatever it is.

He must have known my mate had a fiver on him and Vinnie to score at 10/1.
