Aberdeen have certainly been beat by teams with bigger budgets and resources in the recent past in Europe. Sociedad and the likes. But do Apollon and Qarabag really have more money than Aberdeen. £10m+ revenue is where you at right?

Yes, they do.

Yeah mate imagine me even having the temerity to think about getting better at football.

Mate, you're quite at liberty to practise keepie-uppie while improving your fitness levels.  Please, be my guest.  It'll probably do you good.

Are you posting about socialism or the Celtic fans monkey because the difference between socialism and internationalism is GREED M8.

Surely all the socialists have to do is want it more.

There was never, in 19th C Scotland, embargoes on Catholics being  educated.  Most schools were either charitable or denominational and there were Catholic schools from 1817.   There was a provision that only Presbyterian denominations could receive money from the public purse but this was lifted in 1872 - to the benefit of the Catholic church as well as other non-Presbyterian denominations such as Methodists, Baptists and Anglicans.

"try reading some history books before you post more nonsense."

To be fair, he's probably been educated by The Green Brigade.

But if socialists wanted it more, worked harder and improved their political knowledge we would be...

I don’t need to improve my fitness levels MT, I would have thought you would have known that from the last time you made a silly assumption about me 👍

I do want to see my football team improve though

If you are happy to have a competitive league and never see a Scottish club enter the group stage of a European completion again then it’s magnificent.

That’s basically what happens anyway, apart from the odd occasion.

I’m counting yourselves as Irish (understandably), and the reincarnation English.

I used to play basketball and enjoy watching the nba. They have had 6/7 winners I think in the last 10 years. That numbers not higher only due to 2 of the best shooters ever (and 1 other guy who’s good) deciding to play for the same club for their whole careers. Couple of years ago they had injuries and almost came last! That is true sporting competition.

Reality here is a Euro super league for the top 2/3/4 from each country who have the money to win their domestic league. Form the new league and leave their own countries league for the rest to play for. Gives the forever league winners a much more competitive competition and gives the rest their own level of competition.

How many points do you want your team to win in Scotland?

Is it really all of them?

It's just that that would be a pretty pathetic desire for an adult.

You need to stop making the mistake of thinking your opinion of what is pathetic or embarrassing means anything to me, it doesn’t.

I’ve already said a few times what I want for my team, I don’t require your validation as to if it’s ok or not … see point above ☝️

Read the first few posts and thought, I'll skip straight to the end and make a pithy comment that says "aye, get them to f**k" then on this page I see we're into catholic embargoes and presbyterian education.

So aye, get them to f**k.

I don’t disagree but you are never going to sell this as a better reality to clubs or fans of clubs that don’t want to step back from it. Their opinion should carry as much weight as any other.

Your latter points is probably the most feasible option that keeps everyone happy and at the level they are happy with

So you would like a situation whereby your team wins every game in the League season then?

My God.

I thought the standing of our game, as viewed from afar, was a concern of yours?

It’s quite an insight into the thought process, isn’t it?
