Well can't ask for more than 9 goals on a Wednesday evening! Decent match, Armadale far better than Edinburgh College who kinda imploded defensively in the 2nd have and were just dragged out of position for a rapid fire start to the 2nd half for Dale.

The ground is looking pretty good as well... looks like there is some further work to take place?

Defo a ground worth a visit... nice set up and looks like more to go... and better still, a fine selection of pies!

Glad you enjoyed, yes always more work to be done, next major phase is to move all the portacabins you probably spotted behind the goals down to the main entrance at side of pitch and these will be converted into community changing rooms etc.

Anyway, next up for anybody who wants to pop along a fine 2nd v 3rd clash and as an added incentive the pies are indeed fine 😀

How many were there last night, looked quite healthy, given the weather etc?

I was there and it's really taking shape. Left my phone in the car so no photos. Well done everybody.

You weren't the "larger" guy that broke a seat were you? Caused a wee lassie behind him to pee herself laughing.

Armadale played some nice entertaining stuff on the new pitch. That and various different types of pie (I had the steak mince pie, mighty fine)and I may well be back for another visit

It's been great to get back home to Volunteer Park, crowds and atmosphere up, fair to say the old girl is looking great, no more muddy bobbly pitch and we can play at night now, bonus 😀

After 3 home games in a row, 2 good wins and a disapointing defeat to our nearest rivals Livingston it's a few away games coming up, starting with a trip to our good Stoneyburn friends, a win would be good but they have beat us a few times recently and going well so will be tough .....

Good 7-1 win today, hopefully back on track after the defeat to Edinburgh College.

With Livi losing today now good in second which is probably all we can hope for with Bo'ness romping away although they did only struggle 14-0 today.

Midweek we pushed Premier outfit Musselburgh all the way, in reality should have won.

Next up away to First Division Burntisland in the Kings Cup, good to test ourselves against teams higher up see where we are ...

I was impressed with your team on Wednesday. Looks like you have a lot of decent, experienced players. We (Musselburgh) narrowly won when a draw and extra time would have been fairer imho. From what I saw you wouldn't look out of place in the Premier! All the best for the rest of the season!

Really good win tonight for Armadale against Bathgate. 5-1 in the end, but Bathgate really made them work for it until they just kinda ran out of steam in the last 20 or so minutes.

When it was still 1-1, Bathgate had two great chances to take the lead, but put both wide. Armadale took their chances... and once in front didn't look back. 5-1 was a bit harsh on Bathgate for the effort they put in... really not much difference between the sides for the first hour.

Two cracking first half goals too... I saw the game was being recorded, be nice to see them uploaded!

Cracking 5-1 Friday night victory over local rivals Bathgate who have improved as the season goes on, first half despite the Dale missing a few chances was pretty even and finished 1-1. Second half Bathgate never really turned up and the Dale went on to win emphatically in front of a bumper crowd of nearly 500.

Saturday was nearly a good day with Edinburgh College going 3 up v Bo'ness who somehow ended up winning 4-3 boooooo.

Look like title is going to Bo'ness but today shows not totally invincible, promotion is the main aim and looking at how Whitburn and Syngenta are doing after their promotion we need to get up asap.

Next game, away to Fauldhouse before a mouth watering season defining home game v Bo'ness on the 17th ...

PS Jordi, highlights of game will be up, normally Sun/Mon, keep checking https://www.armadalethistle.com/

Hopefully the new pitch comes through the recent baltic weather in tip top shape and the top of the table clash goes ahead, certainly beats Christmas shopping.

A tall ask for the Dale to take anything the way Bo'ness are playing and scoring freely but on our day and at home it can be done, please  🎅

A good hard fought 4-2 win today against an improving Bathgate team in front of 424 Armadale fans and 2 from Bathgate.

All the best to Pie and Bovril people, a fantastic place to visit ....

More exciting developments at the Volley, after the pitch and floodlights we now have the community pavillion starting in a few weeks ....

Grounds already being well used for the various Dale Thistle youth teams all ages and the community as a whole, onwards and upwards.

Silky soccer every other week, no more mud, bare patches or bobbles 😄 .....
