A leopard never changes it’s spots

According to an article in Nature (2010) this isn't true. The pattern on their coats responds to changes in environment and can do so reasonably quickly.

The mathematics behind spot formation is really very interesting.

If a leopard is kept in the same environment it’s spots do not change. However like you say if there are are changes in the environment to which it’s kept in then it is possible but very rarely occurs. My last partner owned a game reserve in South Africa and having dealt with hundreds of leopards amongst various other animals he said in general they do not.

I was disagreeing with "a leopard never changes its spots", not "a leopard generally won't change their spots".

A leopard is just an uncompleted join the dots black panther.

Panthers don't exist. It's just a catch-all term used to describe a black variant of any of the big cats.

"Sex Cheetah" doesn't make for such a great cologne name.
