The Mo v The Bully Wee

Recommended Posts

This is a game where i'd usually reckon getting all 3 points would be fairly straightforward, but Clyde sitting pretty in second spot and we've yet to score.  Hopefully CJ back to play alongside McAllister and help him off the mark.  Defence has been playing well so far in the league so hopefully that continues and we can get another clean sheet

We took more points from you last season than you did us, granted it was 5 for us to 4 for you and we absolutely have Improved in most if not all areas this year.

This is our biggest test in the league this season so far. McAllister is the piece of the jigsaw Montrose have been lacking and if they had a striker like him in recent years it's not unthinkable to say they could have done even better in the playoffs.

Would be happy enough to stay unbeaten come full time on Saturday but we are capable of coming away with 3 points.

This is pretty much acid test of where we are this season. We have improved in many areas and it possible we can improve again from  last week by Allan returning and perhaps Duthie.

Montrose are the target of the sort of side we want up be. We have been miles off them in recent years so again we will see what the gap is this season. Our defence is night and day from previous years which is encouraging and on evidence of last couple of seasons McAllister is long way off what he one was, again we will see. (Kiss of death there obviously).

If we can nick a goal then who knows, should be a decent match and hopefully we can remain as competitive as we have been so far this season. Certainly we are much better to watch.

This means you will 1000% score on Saturday against us.

A few injuries today with Cuddihy, Duthie and Kennedy all missing out. Rest of the line up remains relatively strong.

Montrose normally strong out wide, where we have two poor wingbacks. Interesting to see how we cover that.
