Perhaps unfair so early on but have we got another Varian

Gullan, for his part, has looked much better as part of the build up. He's winning headers and doing some good running.

I'm yet to be convinced with Connell. He missed a huge chance just after coming on (although the keeper deserves a lot of credit) and he's snatched at a couple of things since. He looks more application than inspiration.

Feel like Gullan has been much improved in recent weeks. Played well against Dundee and Morton and sounds like he has continued that today. Glad he’s been rewarded with a goal.

Still definitely need another, more natural striker but Gullan definitely has his uses in this side.

It's only been five minutes, but he looks transformed since his goal. His tail's up and he looks 20% sharper in everything he's doing.

As I type that - he's just tripped over his own feet 😂

Interesting that IM chooses to use Coulson before Mitchell. Mitchell’s a CF type, but has been playing wing recently, perhaps IM wants to use Mitchell more as one of two paired forwards?

... is it too much to think of a clean sheet 🤔

Don’t even think it!

Agree bud, works hard for the team and bulked up a bit as well

We talked a lot last week about how bad Morton were. I'm far from convinced that Hamilton are any better.

They've drawn their last three games - Ayr and Patick away and Morton at home. Seeing we've more or less outplayed them today we can't be that bad.
