None of the level 8 or 9 clubs made it through to the First Round proper but 6 level 7 clubs including these 3:

Giantkiller (tier) Opponent (tier)
Upset of two leagues above
Coalville Town (level 7) 3–2 away vs Notts County (level 5)
South Shields (level 7) 1–0 home vs Scunthorpe United (level 5)

First Round this weekend with 2 games tonight including Hereford (6) v Portsmouth (3). Six tier 7 sides are still in it, South Shields v Forest Green Rovers (3), Buxton (6) v Merthyr Town, Charlton Athletic (3) v Coalville Town, Burton Albion (3) v Needham Market, Cheltenham Town (3) v Alvechurch are all on Saturday with Bracknell Town v Ipswich Town (3) on Monday. Apart from the Buxton v Merthyr Town game there are another 5 all “non-league” ties, Boreham Wood (5) v Eastleigh (5), Maidenhead United (5) v Dagenham & Redbridge (5), Ebbsfleet United (6) v FC Halifax Town (5), Barnet (5) v Chelmsford City (6) all on Saturday and Wrexham (5) v Oldham Athletic (5) on Sunday.

See post above from @The Naitch for the list of televised games.

Tried to buy a ticket online for Buxton v Merthyr Town but no option for that then looked at their Twitter account which had this info. (£15 a ticket)

That wasn't an option either as Buxton is 15 miles away so am going back to see Stockport tomorrow in their game against Swindon, £10 for an adult ticket which is very reasonable.

Wrexham getting picked because they are Wrexham is a very Premier Sports thing to do

It's a non-league club at home to a league club, to be fair. As all televised games should be at this stage.

I think we could end up with Wrexham being the new Salford though as the diddy club who always gets chosen for telly because of their owners.

Edit: just noticed Oldham aren't in the league any more. Ignore first paragraph.

South Shields coming into it now. The FA Cup needs Regan Hendry though so hopefully FGR get through.

Aye, much improved from South Shields in the 2nd half but still no end product going into the last few minutes.

They had 2 or 3 good chances in that 15-20 minute spell after half time but look like a side that's run out of ideas now. It's going to take a gift from FGR to let them back in now I think.
