Had he kept his cool at the VAR check and got his players to reset then perhaps Mitrovic would have stayed on the park. The manager losing his shit means he gets sent to the stand, it does not help Manchester United win that game. The manager broke some sort of rule that says you cannot go near the ref in that VAR zone. It did not materially affect the Fulham players’ task for the remainder of the game. Mitrovich on the other hand - Christ almighty. The penalty hadn’t even been taken. It could have been saved, hit wide… Fulham, with Mitrovich up top were still in it. With nine men they were dead. Mitrovich is an utter p***k who let his team mates down. Big time. He not only got in the referee’s face (for a clear cut handball and red card, no argument), he pushed the ref, made aggressive physical contact. Fcuking w****r, no excuse, no mitigating factor.
