Moving to a new job so have been sending a few emails back & forth to our HR Dept.

There are 4 people in the dept. The most junior is the Senior HR Advisor while the one directly above is the HR Manager!

Christ knows what the top two have as titles!

I was once a "Customer Services Executive".

I had a summer job as a door to door salesman.

I can't really go into detail but one issue with my work is that a lot of people who do different jobs have almost exactly the same job title.  You also teams who are called essentially completely random things, some of which are deliberately meaningless.

I'm sure one is National Manager (Scotland) or something similar but as we only have one plant left in Scotland it's a bit redundant.

The top woman is likely Darth Humresourcus...

Scum of the earth, thankfully a dying breed.

I should know; my lanyard said 'Academic Sales Consultant' during my days of selling (not many) school textbooks door to door.

A company I used to work for advertised for a 'Senior Sales & Marketing Executive' but ended up giving it to someone internal with no experience so everyone in Sales and Marketing had to get a ridiculous title inflation to reflect the fact that "Senior Executive" essentially now meant "Junior".
