Surprised no thread on this one 24 hours before the new league season kicks off.

Thought there would be hordes of Annan fans on now that everyone is assuming they will lift the title this season?

Interesting why you say that ? Annan fans have never boasted about anything.

Never said they did, but thought you guys would be very excited after a decent season last time and your impressive League Cup showing!

Coming through tomorrow?

Looking forward to the game tomorrow.
Stranraer, Annan and QOS Walking Football teams having a wee tournament pre match at the School Astro Turf. Hopefully I get selected to play.
Then pre match food and refreshments.

Yes very excited about lifting the title this season. Ha joking.
Very excited about the season ahead and many do have high hopes, but, it’s very easy for players to raise their game when playing higher opposition so today is the real test and there’s a long season to go.
Biggest positive for me is the fact we kept the majority of last seasons squad together.
Fingers crossed for a flying start today 🤞

Stranraer worthy of the win, a really well rounded team performance. Hard to find fault in any of our players.
Craig Ross was tremendous up against Goss, really had him rattled.
Like the look of Dylan Forrest. Great shift winning the ball back for us but also looked as if he can play it.
Huge difference having a proper forward playing, Malcolms work rate alone will gain us a few points this season. Didn’t look like he’d ever been away.

A real positive start. Feared the worst going in to this one given the contrasting league cup campaigns and the record Annan had against us last season.

Also, special mention to our groundsman Colin Agnew, thought the park was looking the best it has for a few years.
