Celtic (1994) v The Famous Aberdeen

Recommended Posts

I thought Celtic were a wee bit rusty yesterday normally played about four European ties by now.  Some nice moves in the first half but hit a lull in second.

Aberdeen looked like they were trying to stay in the game for as long as possible and have a go in the late stages so the Jota goal very welcome nevermind very special.

Was lulling in the second half not one of the issues that many were discussing last season regarding Celtic.

I think at this stage it seems to be just an effect of their style of play and set up . Domestically and unfortunately from my point of view it seems to work though as 9 times out of 10 they manage to get the job done before that lull kicks on are at least have the game in a manageable position

Celtic fans - as magnanimous in victory as they are gracious in defeat.

It’s always a bizarre one to me

It would like us going mental gloating on the Raith thread after winning 3-0 the other week

But in a lot of instances people gravitate to clubs like Celtic because of the shortcomings in their own personal lives so celebrating every victory like it’s some kind of miracle is all they have going for them

Sad :(
