I was feeling quite optimistic this morning after winning our first game of the season away to the title favourites, who had been playing scintillating passing football under superstar new manager Gary Bowyer. Glad I've read this thread though to discover we're actually mince. Hope we can steer clear of relegation this year.

Well it is not like you haven't dropped out of the Championship before

On top of that Rudden is coming back from injury, hence on the bench and Cillian Sheridan is not back from his snapped achilles. So other than 5/6 definite starters we were at full strength.

Spoiler: Rudden will be coming back from injury for the majority of the season

Thistle didn't have to do much to win that game other that be solid and hit us on the counter. Took advantage of our mistakes and (shit shock horror) defensive naivety.

I've never seen so many players switch positions throughout 90 minutes in my life. Mulligan, Mcmullan, Mcginn and Jakubiak all switching from wing and central positions. It was a bit of a rabble and once Thistle got their first there was only going to be one winner. Hopefully this is a bit of a plunge in to the cold water for Bowyer and he has learned a lot from the players he has at his disposal.

Mulligan on the half turn and taking the ball for a stroll is a thing of beauty. Get his contract tied down and player him every match of this season ffs.

Aye, imagine being pissed off at losing a large chunk of your wages because some tosser tried to game the system for their own benefit.

And couldn't even do that.

Still, at least he got 3 points.

Maybe if your board hadn't appointed a fucking disaster of a manager in Gary Caldwell and managed to pick up more wins than 6 in 27 fucking attempts you'd maybe not be as raging at Dundee who were one of the other 34 clubs out of 42 that voted that way.

10th March the league had its last game yet you lads hadn't won a game since the 28th December yet we are to blame.

Shameless.
