Hope you have watched the head butt incident stevie.

One of the most bonkers interviews I have seen.  One way traffic for most of the game. Blatant red card and loads of yellows for some horrible challenges.

Strange interview but he’ll be feeling under pressure.

Easy to sit here as a rose fan with a full squad and say we bosses the game but if you have 3 or 4 starters out and have sold your best player then you could be in trouble when the parks are getting heavy. Every team would struggle in those circumstances.

Penicuik will need to knuckle down and grind out results which to be fair is what they are best at!

Sauchie and Crossgates flying and Musselburgh also joining the party. It’s going to be some title race with 6 teams in with a shout!

Did he not say they have a squad of 21 😳 or was it a reference to the 21 players left on the park ?. Hearing isn't what it used to be 🤣

Finishing as it does a fortnight earlier in the spring for playoffs, this division reached halfway today, albeit 4 games are outstanding after Scottish Cup replays/waterlogged pitches/floodlight problems.

Linlithgow lead by 5pts from Sauchie, with more tucked-in behind, after others were unable to capitalise on leaders shock defeat today.

Oakley and Vale look in big trouble - while only 5pts separate remainder of bottom half.

Darvel lead West Premier:     Premier Division Standings – West of Scotland Football League (wosfl.co.uk)

Seems to be a few matches with ineligible players affecting top & bottom of the league

Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale versus Linlithgow has been reversed and awarded 1-0 win for Linlithgow Rose.

Oakley United & Vale of Leithen have each had three points have been deducted from their club's record for different instances of fielding ineligible player

LTHV 4-2 Linlithgow on Sat 3rd Dec awarded 0-1.

Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale 0-1 Linlithgow Rose - All matches - East of Scotland Football Association & League (eosfl.com)

Oakley deducted 3pts: relating to heavy loss at Jeanfield same day. Vale also deducted 3pts: loss at Crossgates on Sat 12th Nov.

There'll be no directory pages 'better-thumbed' before this weekend than trialists rules.

Linlithgow lead grows to 8pts.

LTHV drop 2 places with Tynecastle and Blackburn rising.

Oakley and Vale fall onto 0pts: indeed having played 15 games Vale effectively nothing but -51 GD to show for first half of their campaign.

An Edinburgh derby tonight!

Or is it the "Boys Club" derby...

Tynecastle v Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale at Meggetland... my first ever game in what is a very nice stadium. Imagine, an Edinburgh Council venue with a well designed and good sized stand. They should try that elsewhere...

Turned out to be a pretty decent game. End to end. Both teams desperately looking for the win to try and pull away from the relegation zone.

LTHV probably had slightly more of the game... but didn't take enough of their chances and Tynecastle ended the stronger of the teams nicked a 3-2 victory with a winner in the last 5 minutes.

Decent entertainment for a chilly December evening.
