Premier Elect: EOSL Premier Division 2022-23

Recommended Posts

Linlithgow Rose still in commanding position at top of Premier League. But, with only one point from last two home matches, they are giving Jeanfield, Musselburgh and Sauchie hope that leaders can be caught. Also, The Rose still have to play Jeanfield and Musselburgh away from home.

LTHV will be disappointed with yesterday but important win for IHS who by the sounds of it left it late. Tynecastle probably not expected to get anything yesterday

Big game at Ainslie park next Friday.

Thought Sauchie looked very good yesterday. Best of the rest behind us.

This season, Musselburgh won at Linlithgow and beat both Sauchie and Jeanfield at home. But, all about opinion and Linlithgow still in the driving seat at this time.

Good to see Musselburgh have a game, but how bad must HoB's pitch be? Hardly any rain in the East to speak of this week! 🤷‍♂️

Maybe Fife is the new Glasgow, where rain is concerned🤷‍♂️

HoB and Dundonald's grounds appear to have the same troubles this season with their pitches. At least Burgh hadn't played Haws so far this season to allow the switch to take place this coming Saturday👍

Time for another look across the tier 6 leagues as we enter springtime.

Linlithgow's to lose in the East as Rose hold 10pt advantage with 8 games left - effectively 11pts given GD - and pursuers only 1 or 2 games-in-hand. In form Jeanfield would be best placed to threaten if they could beat them at home on Saturday 18th March.

Unless a big shock on the licence front, the South's winner will be ineligible - indeed as it stands Linlithgow would go up automatically: Darvel and Auchinleck require strong run-ins to overtake Beith in the West.

Rose are about to begin the last quarter of their league campaign, though Auchinleck are yet to reach halfway in their program.

So does Beith Juniors not have a license or close to having a license in time? Because Linlithgow must be licking their lips.

Also Mon the fucking Hi-Hi. Ten unbeaten and still climbing.

Don't have floodlights. Unless things have changed, pretty much everything should have been in place by sometime this month.
