That's 15 conceded in two games. And 10 does not flatter the Rose. Could easily have been 3 or 4 more. Trialist did ok. A goal and an assist within 3 mins of coming on. Problem is cant see another signing unless somebody else is leaving.

AsimButtHitsASix
Cannae wait for VoL to bring up reconstruction around about November to save themselves from relegation again.
Steven W
Was at Linlithgow v VoL last night. Ten nil probably a fair reflection on the disparity between the sides, although Vale did have a decent strike at goal at 0-0. Was a bit taken aback at the dogs abuse the Vale management team were giving the linesman and the referee. They did quieten down with each passing goal but early on in the game it was really quite something. Also smiled at the Rose manager shouting at his team, "C'mon! This is shite! Let's lift it! Every wan ay ye!" They were seven nil up at this point!

leomessi1984
Crossgates vs Sauchie was a good watch. Both good teams at this level & could have went either way. Sauchie GK with some 2nd half heroics. Sauchie were really mobile up top. Crossgates will be disappointed to have lost though.

callumwatt7
Anyone got the referee from tonight's Dundonald v Oakley game? Can't see it (or any Premier Division referees) on the SFA website.
norwichbobby
Dundonald missed a bunch of good chances against us (Penicuik) on Saturday. Looks like they had their shooting boots on last night. This is going to be a really competitive league this year. Apart from one or two teams I think most teams are capable of beating each other on their day….

A threadbare Bo’ness barely had a squad and a patchwork team out on the park. That game was the lowest point of watching Bo’ness for a long time. Footballfirst
Penicuik rode their luck a bit tonight against LTHV after playing three quarters of the game with 10 men. However, they stuck to their task and when a late chance came their way, they took it.

I would say that probably the last 10 min or so Penicuik came back in it a bit more and were pressing and got the chance.

sdr71
I would not underestimate VoL's powers when it comes to avoiding relegation, though would be astonished if they didn't finish in the bottom three this season.
vale boy
Will be a long season again for the Vale again I'm afraid. Thought they were decent against Broxburn and should have gone 2 up. Broxburn have a bit more quality which told in the end although 5-2 was a bit harsh. Wasn't at the Linlithgow game thankfully but by all accounts Vale were pathetic against a good team. Boness were very comfortable despite the score only being 2-0. Think it was over 70 mins before Vale had a shot on target. Its been a tough start to the season

Its been a tough start to the season To be fair to Vale against the Rose they were ok for the first half hour or so but lost 4 goals in last 10 mins of first half and was a disaster after that. If they can replicate the first half hour against teams in the same area of the league they might be ok but.....
