In my limited life experience, I normally find that those who describe financial matters with words rather than actual figures, percentages, plus or minus stats are generally fishing for more information. Tight Lines, hope they bite Wonder how much of a budget they actually have - 6 figures plus??? I’d reckon that’s a starting figure for the clubs that will put in a serious challenge at the top of both the EoS & WoS. I’m not fishing here -because that scenario is a quantum leap for 85% plus of clubs,,,,, until the big money investor gets involved. We know how that story ends; don’t we? In reality, I’d reckon that 70 or 80% of clubs within a league will have similar budgets. 5 or 10% will be scraping the bottom of the barrel and the final 5 or 10% will probably have access to more funding options; generally by hard work. Think all 4 of the teams who have went up will bring a lot to the Premier Division. All 3 promoted teams other than Dunbar are further north than all 4 teams that got promoted or relegated from the EOS Premier. Another team who didn't panic when things got tough last season. From last seasons relegation of Newtongrange, Camelon, Whitehill and Dunbar that only DUFC managed to bounce straight back into the Premier League at the first attempt.
