Just had quick look at the fixtures. You’ve got a very tough December coming up.
Preston/Dunipace/Glenrothes & Nitten. That’s a very tough set of matches. At least you’re playing Glenrothes on your own surface - that’s a big factor.
That set of fixtures above is what we’ve been saying for ages. This league is something else.

Yes thats a very tough month coming up but we've defeated Kirkcaldy & Dysart who are 3 points off the top twice away now. Got to take positives from that.

On the negative side a very disappointing result away at the very tight Rosyth complex didn't help the cause and i think we've more games left against the top half than bottom.

Still all to play for though.

Rosyth will take points from many teams.

It’s a wee bit claustrophobic eh😅

I think they’ve got plans to relocate in the near future. Not easy, needs money and time.

Just a wee bit more suited for schools or 7 a side. They'll pick up many points on that pitch and good luck to them.

Certainly wasn't a criticism, just an observation

Guessing that means the EOS think they should've played the game despite whatever player availability problems Shippy had?

I'm still confident WW will comfortably avoid relegation and finish mid table ready to push on next season.

Best wishes to manager Jack Lynch for a speedy recovery from a recent heart attack.

Sorry to read this.  Best of luck Jack Lynch for a speedy return.

On paper today marks halfway in the league campaign... although Leith are actually 1 game ahead, most of the others 1 or 2 behind after recent weather, plus Camelon and Lochore playing a modest amount of catch-up.

Dunbar have a modest lead behind which half-a-dozen clubs are separated by only 5pts. Mixed form has seen Leith struggle to break-in while Dunipace slumped down alongside them and Rosyth.

Real scrap on among the bottom 6 where Kennoway look in some trouble and Lochore need to turn games-in-hand into points.

It would still be very brave for anyone to make a prediction or two. Plenty twists and turns still to come.

Kinnoull versus Luncarty Perthshire derby postponed due to changing room flood at Tulloch Park - Daily Record

Burst pipes at Tulloch Park have resulted in the postponement of this weekend’s big Perthshire derby.

Kinnoull were set to welcome local rivals Luncarty for a year-ending cracker in the East of Scotland League’s Conference B. But changing rooms at the Perth venue flooded and the game will now be rescheduled for some point later in the season.

“It was gutting when we were given the heads up,” said Kinnoull manager Alan Cameron. “Thankfully work done by the committee prevented it from being a worse situation so credit to the hard work that goes on in the background.”

Dunbar United 1-0 Preston Athletic

Crowd of several hundred enjoyed a dry but cool and blowy night up the New Countess.

Hosts extended their lead in the title race... a penalty around 30mins won an uninspiring stop-start East Lothian derby which only 'caught alight' very late-on.

Yes a strange match. Difficult windy conditions but the pitch held up very very well considering the weather.
The unbeaten home record in the league remains intact. A very valuable 3 points to add to the DUNBAR collection taking them onto 35 providing a 7 point advantage over 2nd. place. However there’s a few games in hand for both 2nd and 3rd place teams.

Very well done DUFC

Wasn’t a vintage display but a welcomed win.

I thought Dunbar were always in control but never put the game to bed. Preston had a couple of chances but thought the result was fair.

The game only really caught fire when there was a bit of needle between the two teams.

Great first half of the season for Dunbar. Hopefully they can kick on in the New Year!

It was a terrible game but a great result.
