HibeeJibee
Whitburn and Syngenta join the bottom 7s in last season's Conferences A & B to contest the inaugural EOSL Second Division. Up top there are 3 or 4 promotion spots up for grabs, while a battle royale lies in store down the bottom with 4 or 5 relegation spots to avoid. Whitburn and Syngenta are tipped for honours - Heriot-Watt Uni, Thornton, St Andrews, Edinburgh Utd and others will strive to match them over a long 34-game campaign. Edinburgh South move to lodge with Edinburgh United. patriot1
A fairly brutal start for the Saints. Whitburn and Syngenta away in the first three weeks. Of course if we win them both it’s s as different matter.

How does that work? It works by Queen's Park announcing they are playing on a Friday night. https://queensparkfc.co.uk/ayr-united-match-arrangements/ Which they will presumably be doing for all their other clashes unless they can get the Syngenta and their opponents to agree to move.

Last minute goal however made it 2 wins out of 2 .

Missed two great chances in the first half and you would never have known they were playing with 10 men in the 2nd half as they were first to every ball and made Whitburn look very average. Took a goal that was yards offside to kill the game off.

They seem to be racing up the leagues. I would hardly say one promotion constitutes "racing up the leagues".

drs
Syngenta 7 (seven) Thornton 1 Well now, I'm going to say that flattered the home team. They were one up at the oranges but hadn't really been making the keeper work and Thornton had missed a glorious chance to take the lead when the striker headed straight at the keeper when anywhere else would have been a goal. Into the second half and whilst the Dyes were on top they weren't really threatening but then Thornton went down to ten men for a second yellow and the Hibs fell apart - 2 goalkeeping blunders, 2 penalties and a couple more when the visitors were just killing time (including the last kick of the game) made it appear more comfortable than it had been. A deserved win but by six goals is overegging it! Wasn't impressed with the ref this evening either - seemed to make several decisions based on which player shouted the loudest, made one of the worst off side calls you'll ever see (the Syngenta player coming on a run from behind the entire defence was deemed off) and at one point gave a free kick to Hibs and then changed his mind and let Syngenta take it. The Dyes could soon be the Falkirk regions second best EoS team after Dunipace.

Can Camelon apply for relegation now to try and find a win?!!
