I would expect Badenach & Braverman to get eliminated in the early rounds and Truss to pick up the majority of their votes.

Is Badenoch even a serious candidate, or has she been promised a plum job if she espouses "red meat" policies to get them into the debate? The depressing aspect is that the candidates are trying to impress by the party membership - the nastiest of the nasty.

Shows what I know, still it's interesting to note that the B-Babes generally considered to be fringe candidates managed to pick up just shy of 20% of the votes.

For my next prediction I'll go for a final two of Mordaunt & Truss.

It's going to be Sunak vs Mordaunt unless Truss picks up proportionately more transfers from the other candidates.

If they finish end up with Mordaunt the Tories will lose the next election.

Hopefully they lose whoever comes next, but why do you think Mordaunt will be particularly more unelectable than the other ghouls?

I think so too if the Rees Mogg /ERG lot keep convincing themselves that Sunak is a socialist.

She's supposed to be the one Labour are most scared of. Sunak's easy with his US green card so he's got somewhere to escape to when he fucksup Britain and his tax cheating billionaire wife. Truss is a moron and total phoney.

I think Mordaunt has the best chance with an utterly gullible public.

If she wins, regardless of her policies or shiteness, the Thatcher comparisons will begin and the posh c***s who's votes actually matter will see her through.

Mordaunt now odds on bookies favourite.
Probably my 5 hunner swung it.
Is your bet got a cashout option?
It's a reaction to the polls rather than mp votes.
Even in a 2 horse race she will not shorten from 8/13
Probably drift back in time.

No cashout which is a bit surprising given the odds movement from 9/1, I suppose they're fixed on the race being out of the gates. The risk for us is the machinations between the Tory factions stopping her making the final two, I think they'll realise what a vote loser Truss would be though and vote for who's most likely to keep them on the gravy train.

I hate the Tories but I have to admit seeing them backstab Jeremy Hunt is glorious.

It's not as good as the time Gove and Fox were successively knifed but still enjoyable.

I'd guess Morduant now just because she's something completely different. First Wid female Prime Minister, Boris was Page 1 of the Sun, she's Page 3.

Given that this is the electorate that thought Boris Johnson would make a good Prime Minister, I'd be hedging on Truss.

Mordaunt & Truss sound like an unfunny comedy duo on the Fringe.

Which they are I suppose

It’s very difficult to predict how effective Mordaunt will be as PM.  She will also come under far greater scrutiny than she has to date.

Barring a monumental f**k up I cannot see the Tories getting a majority at the next GE.  At best they will be the largest party but well short of a majority, at worst Labour will sneak ahead of them.

Bob Stewart, the Tory MP for Beckenham, endorses Mordaunt because she showed 'bravery' on reality TV show Splash

I think Bob Stewart was the MP said to be permanently pished in the leaked Whips Office memo, rather than Willy Wragg who was pished on by 3 unnamed gentlemen.

I'm no sure how she'll cope having to split her time between Downing Street, captaining the UK's on-station nuclear deterrent, patrolling our territorial waters to deter ne'er-do-wells and brown people, and racing with Amundsen to be the first through the fabled Northwest Passage. I don't know how the RN managed before she came along.
