For all the twitter culture warrior nonsense of Braverman and Badenoch, and being painted as the left wing candidate, Sunak is probably the hardest core right winger of all of them, maybe apart from Tugendhat who also pretends to be moderate but advocates rounding up everyone with Russian origins in the UK and deporting them, along with shipping asylum seekers to Rwanda.

I don't pay much attention to the chimps tea party south of the border, so I don't know much about most of those candidates.  Tugendhat has just raised himself from nonentity to prize c*nt in the story I just read, wherein he is certain of the innocence of our brave SAS heroes in Afghanistan, on the grounds that he would have heard of the charges against them while he was serving in Afghanistan himself, but didn't. So that's that then! He is sure that the MOD will sort it out in an entirely unbiased fashion. Naturally!

At least he's not promising tax cuts right, left and centre. There's a lttle more realism in his plans. Also he doesn't need to be doing this. With his wealth would you not be sunning yourself in retirement in some nice part of the world? Who needs all the shit he's just about to let himself in for.

He also initiated the process of getting johnson out.

This is why he's the most dangerous. He's doing this purely because he 100% believes the tory dogma, and as part of that, actively wants to contribute to a less balanced society. He doesn't believe in the welfare state, he never, ever votes for measures on gender or sexual equality, always votes against proposals regarding asylum seekers, always votes to reduce taxes for bankers and big business, and votes against climate change measures. He is a horrible fucking arsehole, but has numerous pals in the media that will paint him as a moderate good guy who'll try to improve society, rather than the reality, which is that he'll try and rip it apart from the seems in favour of billionaire pals.

There're no good options in this race, but he's absolutely one of the worst.

Don't worry about him, mate....  and all the others.

They'll all be gone once the Scottish revolution gets underway.

Yes, that's been mentioned before on here.

Really, the more we discuss this the more you come to realise that there just has to be an independent Scotland - and ASAP.

Well then you won't be aware of the tired old tropes including "grandee" and "big beast" that are regularly used by our media despite there being none left in the democratic process.

At this rate, for absolutely no apparent reason, I'd say Penny Mordaunt is a dead certainty to take it. I reckon it will come down to Rishi and her in the "final vote" and Tory (morons) members won't like that Rishi is the 'establishment' candidate and back-stabbing their beloved BoJo won't go down well with them.

None of them are fit for office. When you consider that this is the best the Tories can come up with and Starmer is the best Labour can come up with, then you can clearly see why Westminster is in the mess that it is. None of these people have any real substance. Any policies they have are populist and playing to their base.

The only unifying thing they have is that they are not Labour, but cannot define what their principles are.

Disappointing to hear Mordaunt desperately backpedalling on her previously moderately enlightened position on trans rights. Says a lot about both her, and the membership that she's trying to pander to.

Never pays to overestimate the enlightenment of the Conservative Party membership.

Couldn't help but hear David (arse) Davis endorsing Mordaunt, with all the usual shit like honesty, integrity, making a fresh start, blah fucking blah, stating that she is very popular in Scotland.

How many in Scotland had heard of her up until now, and how many actually like her?

He based her popularity in Scotland on one P&B perv saying "wid" at that swimsuit photo.
