whoever it is, they wont be able to mobilise the anti-tory vote as good as Boris has

I reckon Truss could make a fair fist of it.

Ben Wallace deciding to run. Creaming his pants earlier because BJ had spent more on defence than any other PM in recent history. Gammons will love this guy. What a waste of money!

Tobias Ellwood told Johnson yesterday that nearly all the extra money would be going on Trident, big cuts on troop numbers and protected vehicles to move them around incoming.

Explain, please. Do you think not being white, not being Anglo-Saxon, not being Protestant, not being male, not being heterosexual or not being "Far Right" would be bad?

His wife doesn't like to see women involved in men's sports, like politics. As far as the rest goes, he knew it'd get some bites.

Also nice to see the continuing and bizarre obsession with socialists having private pensions in capitalist societies. Quite the gotcha.

In lighter news if the people he is relying on to get elected are as thick as this fucking moron who can't even follow a simple press briefing then he might not be destined to move from Number 11 to Number 10.

There have been a few big names today like John Major and Peter Kellener suggesting that Tory members don't need to have a vote on the new leader.

We are heading towards a system where the Party leader picks the MPs and the MPs pick the party leader and the public are completely frozen out.

Sunak reminds of Cameron

Flashy smile but zero substance

He's only been an mp for an alarmingly handful of years too

He bought his position fair and square.

Sky news reporting that Dorries is seriously considering running.

She looks a bit unfit for the London Marathon, mind you once she’s punted from the cabinet she’ll have time to train.

It's hard to imagine Dorries at #10 for anything other than fluffing duties, but now that it's been mentioned, please let it be so!
