Found by a Nigerian princess or actual real gold?

Seems real, and i just hope the people of the country benefit (unlike Congo with their lithuim deposits 90% of global supply).

A Chinese company taking over mining operations.

That's impressive, if true Uganda has found around 120 times the amount of all the gold ever discovered on Earth.

Shame China has all the rights, but I don't suppose it will be worth that much when the price plummets from over supply.

I’m sure they will.  Uganda has a stellar history of non-corruption and looking after its citizens.

320 million tons of gold

Lots of different numbers announced in various articles. I wouldn't be surprised if our man above was told it was 320 million tons of gold-bearing earth/rock, which with a typical grade of 1 gram per ton is 320 tons or 10 million ounces. A rare find these days, but there are larger mines around.

We're at the point now where I looked at the thread title, saw the poster, and immediately figured, "well, one thing's for sure - Uganda definitely haven't discovered $12 trillion in gold".

Remember that weird period when the nation seemingly forgot that gold was valuable?
