Loads of management changes in L1 next season then ...

Falkirk  - new manager, J McGlynn - loads of experience - can he settle things down in Grangemouth after turbulent times?

Dunfermline - new manager - J McPake - got the Dees promoted but opinions split at Dens.  Big re-build probably required at EEP.

Queens - new manager - W Gibson - untried but has Grant Murray as support

Airdrie - new manager - R McCabe - only 29 and with no real coaching/recruitment experience - something of a left-field appointment (just announced tonight)

Kelty £££ - will K Thomson be staying or moving on?  Loads of rumours.

Bit of a risk trying to forecast how this will pan out - Falkirk probably with the safest pair of hands at a guess ...  Montrose probably rubbing their hands at the upheaval amongst this lot.

It feels strange that we're going into this season as one of the more known quantities in terms of the managerial team, with Wullie and Grant having had a quarter of a season already. As for Airdrie and Rhys McCabe, we'll have to start practising to defend long throws...

Yeah, that's about the one thing I remember about his time with Queens. 👍

Regarding Dave McKay he's a decent defender who was a regular for us in D1 but fell out of favour after an injury. He came back into the team in March due to suspensions and injuries to Benedictus and Berra. It took him a game or two to get into his stride. He played well in the 3-3 draw at Arbroath and  came on for Dick in the Final. Not the marauding type of defender but good at defending set pieces. He'll do fine.

Max Currie was or maybe still is one of them.

I gathered he might be, a former team mate of Gibson’s at stranraer. Wonder if Josh Kerr may be another someone we missed out on last season by all accounts

Sounds just what we need, especially the good at defending set pieces bit.

At least our defenders won't have to deal with the threat of Innes Cameron scoring an own goal from an opposition corner... hopefully.

Follow that ultimate soccer on Instagram been great to see McKechnie in working hard for last week or so obviously a big season for him, but great to see him attacking it with the right attitude.

Really hoping he avoids injuries and kicks on this season. Feel he can be a big player for us. If he replicates performances similar to the one against Arbroath he could be a cracking player.

I think someone from Queens had a wee word in his ear about giving out too much information that perhaps should of been on the official site first.

I do not think that is true but whatever the reason is he has been a miss .

Skyline posts were always good I miss his replies to some of the crazy things I put on here hopefully he will be back soon .

Away from that surely early next week we will here if the 4 who have been offered contracts will sign then we can move on .Some do not like signing ex players but Doyle is  a real leader  surely at the top of WG signing targets .

Weclome back, How was Ruari Paton and Nditi for you lot last season? We were rumoured to be signing Paton last summer and Nditi looked like a decent option when he was at Forfar.

Paton was hot and cold, great attitude though and someone who will improve, got another years deal for us. Nditi I was good to begin with then crap and never got a look in towards end of season
