Didn't have time to offer forecast for tonight's game. Wouldn't have forecast that. Didn't even see it fortunately. Took a good hiding, take it on the chin and move on. Firhill tomorrow full of dread.

Aye, Larne gave you a right doing, all over by 35 minutes. Second half was a bit more sedate.

Wouldn't have forecast that result myself!

@jacksgranda Can Larne win the league?

Yes they can. Decent squad Bonis scoring for fun and plenty of money still in their coffers. Glentoran will throw a wobbly somewhere. Great win for the Hatchet men Phil (goal machine) Lowry.

Glenavon beat the Glens as Larne go top. Crusaders win at the Showgrounds. Linfield and Cliftonville draw 0-0. Newry get the points (despite the result being posted as 2-2) and bottom two lose again.

Yes, but I don't think they will. Happy to be proved wrong.

Coleraine v Glentoran.  Away win, I reckon

Half time: 0-0 at the Showgrounds, lively enough game, Coleraine lucky to have 11 men on the park after Jarvis tackle on McMenamin, who is carried off, Jarvis only booked.

Full time: 0-0, which puts Glentoran top on goal difference, second half littered with yellow cards- mostly for Coleraine, but Glentoran ended with 10 men when McClean was sent off for a second yellow at the death.

Here's the report - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63605457

Mr McDermott not happy - can't say I blame him to be quite honest.

@hatchetman, Coleraine are going to have to change their nickname from The Bannsiders to The Hatchet Men from the Ballycastle Road!

Scurrilous, scurrilous reference. Expect to hear from my legal representatives.

Larne back on top after a 5-0 romp at Shamrock Park, Glenavon nearly get a Big Two double but ultimately succumb to Linfield at The International Windsor Park Stadium, Cliftonville win at Stangmore and Newry get 3 more points. Crusaders play Ballymena on Monday

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63610313

Top: Larne P 14 Pts 35, 2nd Glentoran P 13 Pts 32, 3rd Cliftonville P 14 Pts 30, 4th Crusaders P 13 Pts 29, 5th Linfield P 14 Pts 26, 6th Coleraine P 15 Pts 23

Bottom half: 7th Glenavon (on goal difference) P 15 Pts 19, 8th Carrick Rangers P 15 Pts 19, 9th Newry City P 15 Pts 15 (they'll be happy with that), 10th Ballymena P 13 Pts 14, 11th Dungannon Swifts P 15 Pts 4 and rock bottom Portadown P 15 Pts 1

The title looks like a fight between the top 4, although I suppose you can never rule Linfield out, but they've 9 points to make up.

The bottom two look increasingly cut off, 10 points between Ballymena and the Swifts, never mind Ballymena and the Ports (13 points).

Came home Friday so missed the Cappielow shambles. Heading to Seaview tonight. Last time we played Ballymena they were pretty poor. Don't appear to have improved much, so it has to be fairly comfortable although we are capable of a disaster ourselves (Carrick). A cautious 3-1.

Ballymena 0 Linfield 2. Fairly comfortable for the Blues in a match that never really took off, although always watchable. Linfield dominated the opening 20 minutes or so, but just as Ballymena were coming back into it, Linfield scored.

An earlyish goal in the second half had the Blues on easy street (both goals came from set pieces, Mr Jeffrey won't be pleased), and although United huffed and puffed they didn't carry much threat when they reached the penalty are.

Linfield missed a late penalty when Shields hit both posts, a neat trick.

Dungannon almost caused an upset at Inver Park after scoring first, but eventually went down, 2-1.

Larne 6 points clear, with the Glens having 2 games in hand, and Linfield are 4th, if maybe only temporarily.

Heading for Seaview for my last live IL match this year. The last time I saw Newry we beat them 7-0 I think. Davy Rainey scored one of the best counter attack goals I've seen. It's good to see them doing well. Score today? Anywhere between 0-0 and 5-5.
