Reached the Third Round and the first all-in draw.

The Lowland 16 has been cut down to 7.

EKFC & Spartans have a couple of favourable ties. Bo'ness United & Tranent renew some old Junior/EoS aquaintances. CSS & Stirling Uni look like facing a couple of Tier 6 clubs chasing titles. The Braves should fancy their chances against Rutherglen.

Abbey Vale v. East Kilbride
Auchinleck Talbot v. Neilston
Bo'ness United v. Penicuik Athletic
Caledonian Braves v. Rutherglen Glencairn
Cambuslang Rangers v. Newton Stewart
Clydebank v. Largs Thistle
Coldstream v. Broxburn Athletic
Dunipace v. Tynecastle
Edinburgh South v. St Cadoc's
Gartcairn v. Dunbar United
Glasgow United v. Sauchie Juniors
Glenafton Athletic v. Kinnoull
Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts v. Bo'ness Athletic
Jeanfield Swifts v. Lochar Thistle
Kilwinning Rangers v. Musselburgh Athletic
Leith Athletic v. Fauldhouse United
Linlithgow Rose v. Civil Service Strollers
Lothian Thistle HV v. Kello Rovers
Luncarty v. Thornton Hibs
Maryhill v. Ashfield
Maybole v. Glenrothes
Newtongrange Star v. Stoneyburn
Renfrew v. Cumnock Juniors
Rossvale Juniors v. Johnstone Burgh
Shotts Bon Accord v. Dundonald Bluebell
Spartans v. Glasgow University
Stirling University v. East Kilbride Thistle/Darvel
Threave Rovers v. Lesmahagow/Whitletts Victoria
Tranent Juniors v. Blackburn United

Maybe not as favourable as you think as ex WW assistant manager,Uni of Stirling and BSC manager Mark Adams in charge of the students.

He'll know what to expect against Spartans having LL experience and has taken the students to most probably their furthest Scottish Cup run ever beating Golspie and Forres thus far

On saying that you'd still expect a Spartans win.

Feels like the move to the WoSFL has been beneficial to Glasgow University. Bit of an expectation they'd be cannon fodder in the Conferences, but finished mid-table. It's early doors but look like they'll avoid relegation from the West Second Division.

Still home tie for Spartans, who might well be in contention for the Lowland League title. Against a side battling to be clear of relegation 3 tiers below is about as good as you can ask for really.

The Fourth Round draw:

Image

Rossvale v. East Kilbride

Spartans v. Dunipace

Tranent Juniors v. Linlithgow Rose

Caledonian Braves v. Bo'ness United

Newton Stewart v. Stirling University/Darvel

Stirling Uni's outstanding tie is played today. If they make it through most of the Lowland League sides will fancy their chances. Tranent v. Linlithgow looks like tie of the round.

Obviously going by East Kilbride v Bo'ness tonight this competition is failing to attract the crowds.

Lucky if there was 150 punters there tonight. Bo'ness brought about three car loads.

Wrong cup. Tonight's match was the unpopular Lowland League Cup.
