jagfox
I'm quite glad the Manchester United one this one, tbh. The look of horror on the old guy sitting down, wearing the cap Edited February 26, 2023 by jagfox

League titles must surely outrank cup wins....... and no, I'm not a Mackem.

The look of horror on the old guy sitting down, wearing the cap Imagine paying a fortune for a ticket, travelling all the way down to London from Newcastle, and ending up sitting next to that c**t. And then your team shite themselves, and meekly surrender, before you have to go all the way back up the road.
Bully Wee Villa
I got the stat off another forum, but it seems to be bollocks anyway (or they're including stuff like the Charity Shield, I dunno). https://www.myfootballfacts.com/england_footy/english-domestic/all-time-english-trophy-winners-statistics/

I'd always go with domestic league championships (top flight) followed by FA Cup and then League Cup. Europe being nice and all, but how can you compare a four-round knock-out competition in the '80s with the bloated behemoth it is now? Anyway, long may Huddersfield Town (3) be ahead of Tottenham (2). Oh, bugger - Big Team Found.
Theroadlesstravelled
I look forward to the day when the Newcastle owners realise they’ll need to spend well over £1 billion to win hings, baulk at it and the fans turn on them.

But it should still be weighted, I wouldn't say Forest are a bigger club than Arsenal because they've won it and Arsenal haven't, for instance.

Always had a roll of puppy fat even though I did loads of exercise and training as a kid/youth. Never got rid of the thing, but was fitter than others in my team who were svelte. Now I have noodle arms, 'baby sparrow's kneecap' biceps, and a f*cking roll of belly fat. It's one of there they 'isms' or 'syndromes' I tell ye.
