As jeez does that mean we need another thread

The Conspiracy Thread

I get confused which thread I'm on at times.

Some would say I'm just confused permanently.

Was there ever a resolution to the Campbeltown Pupils v Thorn unplayed game and the award of points/result?

3 points to Campbeltown

£1000 fine

On a last warning. They were to get kicked out but other teams in the division spoke up in defence of them.

No knowledge of disciplinary procedures.

Would suggest it's not their first misdemeanour.

To me as an outsider seems quite severe.

First misdemeanor

It's sending out a message

Thanks for info. Can see why the management committee are doing it after all the shenanigans and fallout from the incidents last season.

Hopefully applies to all clubs. We will wait and see.

I think everyone already knows anyway, but just to confirm that St Patrick's FPs have applied to be in the Fourth Division next season.

EXCLUSIVE: Dumbarton's St Patrick's FPs apply to join West of Scotland League

There's a man wearing a tie and polo shirt combo in one of the photos. For that reason alone, it has to be a no.

They should only be allowed in if they drop the Dumbarton everyone knows I don't like it. 😙😙

That'll be 3 Dumbarton teams in the pyramid then. Well at least for one season.

Not being au fait with the bigotry involved in all this, I have a genuine question which was going to ask and stopped myself before but given the post two above, what is the thinking behind calling teams St. something? If it's going to cause bother then we can leave it.

Probably a number of different reasons e.g. Perth being known as St John's Town, hence St Johnstone. With other clubs I suspect some of them were originally connected with churches, youth clubs and schools.
