Port took the lead midway through the second half and added a late second when we had pushed everyone forward in search of an equaliser. A frustrating night, but it's onto a big cup game on Saturday. There should be a Dumbarton/Port Glesga ferry service for this fixture

Father Ted
Lesmahagow 3 Saltcoats Vics 0 Three goals offside, too, one doubtful. Gow had a lack of urgency throughout the game, playing like they were towing caravans. Never been so underwhelmed with a win but still another three points on the board. Vics big no. 5 and speedy wee no. 7 looked the part.

Troy101
EK Thistle have taken a couple of doings within the last week. Expected them to be much better than that with some of the experienced players they’ve recruited for this season
Father Ted
Newmains Utd 3 Lesmahagow 4 The Gow raced into 2-0 lead. Newmains hit back with two within five minutes in first half. Gow scored early in 2nd half, belter of a free kick from Kyle Weir. With fifteen minutes to go Gow went down to ten men due to Blair Hill being sent off. Newmains evened it up with ten minutes to go, due to defensive mix up and Gow keeper not commanding his box. Gow scored on the break to make it 4-3 with a couple of minutes to go. Value for money as far as goals go. Newmains battled away well but Gow did just enough, must do better.
Craig fae the Vale
Carluke Rovers 1-3 Vale of Leven. A fantastic three points at a place that hasn't historically been a happy hunting ground for us. Controlled most of the game and also hit the bar three times. A late sending off the only sour note. A great feeling coming home on a Saturday with a win!

bc57
Lanark 3 Larkhall 6 We've lost 11 goals in our last 2 games which coincides with the departure of our goalkeeper Gareth Hallford. A big blow, no doubt. Our top scorer and our most consistent player were left on the bench, presumably for not attending our Scottish Cup game last week. All this said, Larkhall were clinical and took their chances very well. Can't just blame our young keeper. Our defending was abysmal. Got the Lowland League version of EK next week in the Cup, which should be 'interesting'.

Clough85
Pleased to see kello doing well. Hopefully they can keep the small squad fit and maintain the push for promotion.

Looking good.

larky9
Good win for the Jags, against a well organised Port Glasgow side,we made it hard for ourselves today, playing against 10 men, should've been out of sight in the first half, however that's football, and I think this win puts us top of the league
